Elchanan (Nani) Maoz l Founder and Chairman
Elchanan (Nani) Maoz, is the Chairman and Founder of Maoz Everest Fund Management Ltd. Mr. Maoz founded the Everest Funds in 2000 and has managed them since. Prior to that, Mr. Maoz was employed by Dovrat Shrem as head of the International Department. Mr. Maoz received his B.Sc. in engineering (with honors) from King's College of the University of London in 1993. Between 1984 and 1988, Mr. Maoz served as commanding officer and a team leader in the Israeli Special Forces.
Roee Eizenman l CEO
With over 10 years of capital markets and investment banking experience, Mr. Eizenman is an expert in financial engineering, with an exceptional track record in leading and generating financial solutions tailored to top-notch Israeli firms in both the private and the public sectors.
Previously, Mr. Eizenman served as CEO of Migdal Investment Banking and Migdal Issuers which handles all the public activity related to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and financial institutions. Mr. Eizenman completed hundreds of equity and debt transaction, including some of the largest and most significant Israeli related ones.
He was named one of the 40 successful and promising young Israeli businessmen by Globes magazine and as an M&A Emerging Leaders award winner by the M&A Advisor magazine. Mr. Eizenman holds an Executive MBA in Financial Engineering and Banking from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem (Magna Cum Laude), and a B.A. in Business Administration and Risk Management from the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya (Summa cum laude).
Yonatan Nacht l COO
Mr. Nacht joined the Everest Group in September 2014 where he acts as Chief Operations Officer and Executive Assistant to the CEO. A Major in the Israeli Navy reserve forces, Mr. Nacht served as an officer in the Navy for over seven years, after graduating from the prestigious Israeli Naval Academy Officers course. He holds a B.A in Economics from Tel Aviv University and a Global MBA in the strategy and business development program at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center.
Asaf Ben-Gavriel l CFO
Prior to joining Everest, Asaf was an audit manager at Ernst & Young Israel, where he was responsible for a large number of companies in various sectors.
During his role at Ernst & Young Asaf managed and led a team of accountants and focused on creating added value for his clients by providing accounting solutions, analysis of financial statements and advised in taxation issues.
As the Group's CFO, Mr. Ben Gavriel is responsible for maintaining the finance organization to support the growth of the group, and manages all financial aspects, including, cash management, forecasting, reporting to investors, working closely with banks, financial statements, contracts, budget, taxation and all other finance aspects of the group's activities.
Mr. Ben-Gavriel holds a B.A in Business Administration, with primary specialization in accountancy and secondary specialization in risk management from the College of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel since 2014.
